My name is Rick Porter and I’ve just committed myself to getting back into form and totally transforming my physique at the age of 44. Over the final five many years of working from home with my internet business I've acquired forty lbs of fat, developed diabetes, hypertension, and also have very low energy levels.

As of December 1st I've started this site to document my journey of getting back into form and getting healthy again for myself and my family. I’m not a stranger to health and fitness. In 1989 I was a high college wrestling state champion at the weight of 152 lbs. Afterwards I joined the U.S. Marines and invested four many years in the infantry stationed in Hawaii. Following that I worked as a personal trainer but then left the field to pursue jobs in technology.

Now, right here I'm today, twenty many years after leaving the Marines while being in the best form of my life, I'm now 50 lbs obese and in the worst form of my life. I can both continue making excuses as to why I don’t have any time for you to workout while getting fatter and more unhealthy, OR - I may take the positive steps necessary to make a real change in my life. I need to do this for my wife and kids. I can’t be irresponsible any longer with my health.
